No. An apprenticeship would be your next step.
If you are claiming benefits we can normally fund this qualification for free for you.
After completing this qualification you could progress on to a Level 3 Diploma in Work-Based Horticulture or even a more generic qualification in Team Leading, Management or Customer Services.
We have funding for both currently employed staff and new recruits (apprentices). The total value of the training you will receive is in excess of £5,000, in most cases you are required to make a small employer contribution but this cash investment is a fraction of the value, we know employers contribute much more than just money.
We offer a free of charge recruitment service to ensure you get the right person – worth approximately £2,500 and the vast majority of our apprentices carry on working with their employers after the programme finishes.
The National Minimum Wage for an Apprentice is £3.30* per hour, you can pay more if you would like to.
