Partners.

Slic Training work with many partners and stakeholders, from Prime Contractors to DWP Colleagues. The information below has been drawn up to give any prospective partners an overview of what we can offer. We thought its best to create a separate page so that we can include some jargon and technical information.

  • We are a national provider with a regional infrastructure, which enables us to deliver a responsive provision nationwide.
  • We are completely employer responsive and all our delivery is work-based.
  • We are on ROTO.
  • We hold Matrix.
  • We have an internal Business Development team who carry out all employer engagement and key account management.
  • We work with some national employers and generally are able to respond to large funding requests.
  • We have experience of working across all mainstream provision, including ESF contracts, and work closely with Job Centre Colleagues – most of our PETS are run as SBWAs.
  • We have a prepared Due Diligence pack with all the policies, procedures & financials, should you wish to engage with us.
  • We are used to working with multiple primes across complex contracts.
  • We are up-to-date and well versed in regional and LEP priorities.

We have an internal quality improvement team who:

  • Produce and manage our SAR & QIP (in which we self-assess as a Grade 2)
  • Carry out OTLAs.
  • Coordinate all our AO related activity.
  • Deliver qualifications to up-skill our staff –  including teaching and assessing qualifications.
  • Carry out audits.
  • Are the main point of contact for all quality related enquiries, including Ofsted.

 

We will always be honest, whether we are talking about profiles or performance, we will always try and give you a clear picture of where we are and what we can achieve. However, this does mean we expect an open, honest relationship in return.
